STILL I HAVE TO WALK.........

(its all about  my interview of Accenture,i have expressed my thoughts,my views.I hope u will like it....)

(Human wants are unlimited,it never ends,after getting something always we try to get more than that and again we start struggling.And its only the reality of our life.So i want to say that-it was not my goal, i have to go ahead,i have to get something more,i have to reach to my destination... and finally.....STILL I HAVE TO WALK.... )

         It was about 4.30am & the date was 11.11.11.Me & my friends left college. We caught the train by 7am.Keeping a lot of hopes and expectation in mind we started our journey. Whatever the temples coming on the way to CIT,I was only praying to god, “God plz help me, this time I don’t want to return my college without any offer letter, I want to return without failing, plz help me…”.At last we reached CIT. We got 2 rooms having minimum 30 students in each. After taking rest of 1hr,we again started our preparation. We prepared up to 12.30pm.I was nervous and just thinking what will happen, just only reminding to my parents again & again and praying to god . But at last just to make myself relax, thought that “jo hoga dekha jayega…”.And I slept away.

It was 12.11.11, morning 5.30 am. I woke up and again get tensed because I was only late and maximum of my roommates started preparing. Me and Manisha just remembering some of formulae .The time was 7.30am.All are serious but me and Manisha were worrying about taking photographs in formal dress. But all laughed at us and scolded to make us serious and we both went for reporting. We entered to room no-6, no one was there in 1^st bench, I said Manisha let’s sit here(only to create a good impression).  Then we both sat there.

WRITTEN TEST:

It was about 9:00am, they distributed the papers of written test. Me and Manisha were in the same bench. Previously we thought to solve the question together.(half by her & other by me) But fortunately or unfortunately we both got different set questions, and started solving. It was my good luck that no questions were from aptitude, and all the questions were very easy to solve by me.

My habit is to start anything from last, even though I always used to read books from last chapter. I have started doing from the question no-55.I am sure that I have answered about 49 questions correctly ,and put rest 6 questions randomly.

The time was over. They have given only 5minutes for essay writting.The topic was “EDUCATION SYSTEM IN INDIA.”I have started writing” the educational facilities both in Govt. and Private Sectors and about how really they are working and how all the facilities can be realized properly in all the areas of India.”I have given stress  on these points only.

After that 5mins break is given, me and Manisha discussed about the written test. Both of us bluffed to same puzzle, because we were unknown about that the questions were same but only numbers are changed.

PRESENTATION:

Then the time was for Presentation by the HR of ACCENTURE. Two employees from Accenture Mr. Abhishek and Mr. Prjwal were there to give the presentation. We both were having 2piece of papers to note down the important points, because some time some of the questions were asked from them only in HR round. Then it was over and they declared that the results will come out within half an hour.

We went for having a breakfast and went to room for preparing for TECH. PI.After 5minute left, we heard that result came out and only 14 are shortlisted. Before that we were sure that maximum students of my college will b selected because the questions were very easy to answer. But became strange when I heard about 14. At that time someone called to Manisha and said only 3 girls from JITM are selected and Manisha is one of them. I really became hopeless, I was trembling and said that I will not go to see results  but still Manisha said” let’s go and see really what happened to result”. We both went. On the way minimum 2/3 persons were saying congas’ to Manisha only, not to me.  I was only praying to god by keep crossing my two fingers.After some time some1 told that Monalisha name is there but which Monalisha we don’t know, go and check. At the same time some of my friends told the same thing and rest were standing because though they have done well but their names were not there. I went and saw name “Monalisha” in the list, and checked the left and right side column, the answer sheet no and the date of birth was mine. Me and Manisha become very happy because both of us name was there. At that time my confident level increased. Then we went for filling the employment form.

At that time they said to submit photo copies of all the mark sheet and results. But I didn’t have the hard copy of 1^st and 2^nd SEM result. On that day the printer of their college was not working, my friend Bhuvneswar went to principal office with my pen drive and given me the hard copies. Fortunately I got all the hard copies which were needed to submit.

We are shifted to the board room for PI.I have written answers of some questions from each subject. At that time only 6girls (Nibedita, Niharika, Darshna, Ramya, Manisha and me) from my college were selected for PI.We were preparing from that notes. I stared from Nibedita. After some time my turn came. I went and waited there. To make myself relax I have taken some water and roaming outside of the room. Then they called me and I entered to the room, Mr. Abhishek was there to take Tech.PI.

TECH. PI:

Me: May I come in?

He: Yes, come in.

Me :( kept my file on the table unknowingly and again taken from that table)

He: plz be sitted.

Me:Thanx.

He: what’s going on outside.

Me: All are very nervous because some of my friends were not able to answer to some of your questions.

He: Oh!!They also made you nervous, right?

Me: No, not like that.

He: Did they tell the questions?

Me: No, I didn’t talk more to them.

He: Monalisha, Are u comfortable with C++

Me: yes

He asked questions…..

1.     What is the difference between overriding and over loading?(answered)

2.     Why Overriding happening and how it can be resolved?(answered)

3.     Do you know java?(me: yes)

4.     what is byte code?(answered)

5.     What is JVM? Why is needed? (Answered)?

6.     Is possible 2 do multiple inheritance in java?(confused but did not answer properly)

7.     How automatic Garbage collection is done? (answered)

8.     What is an Applet? (answered)

9.     What is OS? (answered)

10.                        What is demand paging and and how is working?(explained and it was really impressive answer by me,I said about swapping process also)

11.                        Why u r using this pointer and super key word? (answered)

12.                        Say features of constructor? (I have said about 5 points).

13.                        What is kernel? (answered)

14.                        What is Inline?diffrense between C and C++?(answered)

He: ok all the best….

Me:thanx…

I was so happy because all the questions from my notes which I have prepared only for PI.Returned to the Board- room very happily and one of the placement officer (CIT) was there, she asked me all about my PI and she told that “if u ve answered all the questions then u must be selected”, After the PI was completed my confident level again increased. After some time I went for HR round.Mr Prjwal called me.

I went.

Me: May I come in?

He: yes, come in and take your sit, plz.

Me:thanx

He: Monalisha How was the day? Explain.

Me: Very nice.I was very nervous before the written test but really I have done well in written. I have not expected that I will b there among 14 shortlisted.

He: U didn’t expect, why?

Me: Coming within best 14 from the best 160 is really an unexpected thing for me, but after completing my PI I am feeling little bit relaxed.

He: then your Tech pi is f9...R8? What’s Ur favorite subject.

Me:oops

He: Give ur introduction.

Me: given..only my name, and carrier.

He: what’s your hobbies, achievements?

Me: said

He: what will be ur daily life in Accenture?

Me: I will keep focusing on my tasks, at the same time I will try to enjoy myself by performing all the tasks given by ……

He: where u want to see yourself after 3year and what u have to do for make it possible.

Me: I want to see myself in higher level , as u have said  at the time of giving ppt that company is giving more stress for learning process, I will utilize it properly and give high performance and try my level best to handle all type tasks.

He: Say something about EDUCATION SYSTEM IN INDIA.

ME:I explained,(at that time he was turning over my written test paper)

He filled one form by asking me some questions like

Can u do n8 shift?

If I ll reallocate u to kollkotta, is there any problem?

And some of questions were not audible but it seemed that the answer should be yes and I said all the answer yes.i have selected my job location Hyderabad, banglore, gurgaon.

Me:thanx...Nice to meet u

I came out from that room without any tenson.i became sure that all of 8 students will be selected from tech PI, also must be selected in final round. Because all are that much capable to clear it. All of us started praying to god only. Me and Manisha were sitted side by side. We started reciting Hanuman chalisha by keep crossing two fingers.

The PI was almost over. Result came.Upto that time also I was sure that all 8peoples must be selected. But sabita mam disappointed after seeing that only 5 were selected. I became nervous and just trying to make relax.

RESULT:

It was about 4.15pm, 12.11.11.Mr Prjwal started declaring. “He said all of u done well. Who those not selected they are also good, but according to our frame we have selected these 5.”Really the situation was so ……………… (Unexpressible, bcz the result was going to b declared..).My prediction was not to come on those 3, who are not selected. Then Mr. Prjwal said “the selected students are……..”

1^st name was Monalisha Pradhan (that’s me), and after that what will be my situation u can imagin.I was waiting for the results of others. But continuous 3 names from CIT only, after that the 5^th name was Manisha rani Apto.

Really I can’t forget the moment throughout my life, because that was only moment that ensures that we became somehow independent. Manisha and me didn’t see anywhere, started laughing by holding our hands .And we were really feeling like we both are out of world. We are over the earth.

After that we went to separate table, they have distributed 3 offer letters (2 for us,1 for parents).We put at least 20 signatures there. I was feeling very proud when we are said to put the sign above “EMPLOYEE INITIAL”.I was very much happy because I was putting my signature as an employee of Accenture.

ABOUT MY PREPARATION:

When I have not qualified in written test of MINDTREE,I have not depressed that much tried something for written test of CSC.But did not qualify in TECH PI.Because I never thought that I will cross 4 rounds in off campus and go for tech PI round. But fortunately I was rejected. It was a positive point for me. Still I have depressed a lot, because it really hurts a lot when u will  be rejected from final round. From that day I made myself so strong .When the notice came about Syntel campus drive, from that day only I have started my preparation (Monalisha (cse) and me). When the notice about Accenture came we became so serious and started preparing. From that time Manisha also joined with us. We were giving more stress to questions for PI.we have prepared from

R.S.Agrawal (Aptitude and reasoning)

C, C++.JAVA, OS, IWT, CN, CO, DBMS.DS

 Linux commands (after getting certificate in this workshop, answering from this will b a good impression)

And Manisha was preparing from her branch subject also.

We got disappointed when Monalisha (cse) is not selected among us. As she prepared well, she will definitely get a good one.

I really believe in god as well as in favor of luck also. Before this I got all the success luckily but did not work hard. But this time I can say that hard work also one of the factor of getting success. After qualifying in GATE2 011 I have decided that I will do M-tech and do lectureship in any college. But never thought about all these. I think “may b It was for me”. So no one can break it.

All of my friends co-operated a lot and praised me that u should come with success this time.  I can share only one thing that never get disappointed after fail; it will only show you a better way to grow up. Always try to get others expectation on u and the blessings of your elders. It really gives a brightened path to overcome all the difficulties………I truly believe in it. But it’s not my destination...…STILL I HAVE TO WALK…………
